Torgovaya Ploschad – North-West

The Holding company “Torgovaya Ploschad” started the 21st century with a launch of the program aimed at regional expansion of the corporate activity. Opening of “Torgovaya Ploschad”, a representation in Saint-Petersburg, was the first step of the program implementation aimed at exploration of new geographical markets. This branch controls the second largest Russian city and practically all regions of the North-West Federal district. Thus, new prospects have opened for the benefit of the company.

Despite the high level of competition, typical for the considered region, the “TP-North-West” affiliate succeeded in achievement of strong market position in terms of finishing material sales. The company’s area of activity may be characterized by the following facts: the affiliate currently employs about two hundred employees and operates warehousing and office space with a total area of eight thousand square meters.

At present, “Torgovaya Ploschad-North-West” is the second largest affiliate of the Holding “Torgovaya Ploschad”.

The affiliate participated in the equipment provision to the key regional social and cultural buildings. The affiliate also provided sets of equipment and materials for the following business centers, trade and recreational complexes.

“PULKOVO 2” Airport, Tax Inspectorate Central Office, Central Office of the Savings Bank of Russian Federation, “Philip Morris” production facility, Furniture Store “Akvilon”, Store Network “Magazin U Doma”, “Obukhovsky” business center, trade and recreational complex “Nord”, trade and recreational complex “Mercury”, trade complex “Akademichesky”, trade house “Kubik”, trade and recreational center “Gulliver”, trade complex “Pionersky”, trade complex “Balkansky”, trade complex “Megamarket” (Kaliningrad), trade and recreational complex “Pyramid”, Construction Material Warehouse “Rybinskaya” on Pulkovskoye Shaussee, Hypermarket “Lenta”, trade center “Mebelny Kontinent” and many other buildings…

Following the strategy of establishment of the corporate network of affiliates in the North-West, “TP-North-West” opened its first office in Pskov in September 2006. At the initial stages of work, the key area of activity of “Torgovaya Ploschad -Pskov” will be concentrated on provision of services in terms of equipping of commercial real estate. The next scheduled step of expansion of the corporate affiliate network shall be establishment of a new building equipping center in Arkhangelsk by mid-2007.
